Sources

Please choose a source name from the ALMA source name list. If you don't get the appropriate source name, you can check Sesame checkbox and then ATOMIS will search for your source coordinates in Sesame( Simbad, NED or Vizier databases)

Please enter source coordinates (RA Dec) in deg or h:m:s for RA and d:m:s for Dec.
Examples:
  • 201.365062 -43.019112
  • 13:25:27.615 -43:01:08.803
  • 13h25m27.615s -43d01m08.803s
IMPORTANT: You should use a space to separate RA and Dec.

Please load a source file with the following format:

SOURCE EQ 2000 COORDINATES LSR or Z VALUES !COMMENTS
Example:
W33A EQ 2000.0 18:14:39.4 -17:52:00 LSR 3.8 !protostar
W33A EQ 2000.0 18:14:39.4 -17:52:00
IMPORTANT: If there is neither VLSR nor redshift values (put 0), no correction is applied.

If you know the source VLSR in km.s-1, please enter its value to apply frequency correction.

If you know the source redshift, please enter its value to apply frequency correction.

Search radius around the source coordinates. It can be in arcsec, arcmin or degree unit. To not take into account this filter in the search of the ALMA observations leave this field empty.
Observation Filters

Angular resolution in arcsec.
Examples :
  • 0.5 --> search for ALMA observations that have angular resolution values within the range of +/- 20% of 0.5 ([0.4; 0.6] arcsec).
  • > 0.5
  • < 0.5
  • 0.2 .. 2
  • * --> no filter on angular resolution is applied.

List of ALMA Receiver Bands.

Sensitivity value in mJy.beam-1 per 1 km.s-1 channel. Examples:
  • 1.5 --> search for ALMA observations that have sensitivity values within the range of +/- 20% of 1.5 mJy.beam-1 per 1 km.s-1 channel.
  • >1.5
  • < 1
  • 1..2
  • * --> no filter on sensitivity is applied.

Spectral resolution of the subband in km.s-1. Examples:
  • 1 --> search for ALMA observations that have spectral resolution values within the range of +/- 20% of 0.5 km.s-1.
  • > 1
  • < 1
  • 1..2
  • * --> no filter on spectral resolution is applied.
